If you need to correct a mistake, change your investor name, update your capital commitment, or add information to your subscription documents, etc., Vanilla allows edits as long as your investment has not yet been closed and admitted to the fund. Once your subscription documents are counter-signed, no further changes can be made.
How to Modify Your Subscription
1. Open Your Subscription
Use the link provided in your original invitation email.
Enter the email address associated with your subscription.
Follow the prompts to obtain a one-time access code or, if you’ve previously created a password, you can log in using your account credentials.
If you can’t find your subscription link, contact your fund representative or email [email protected] for assistance.
2. Click “Make Edits”
Upon entering, you’ll land on the Subscription Overview page.
Look for the “Documents Complete” tag under Subscription Progress. This status means the subscription is eligible for editing.
If the subscription is marked “Closed”, it can no longer be modified.
Click the “Make Edits” button located beneath the capital commitment amount to reopen the questionnaire.
3. Make Your Changes
Navigate to the section you need to update using the Next button or the left-hand menu.
Make your edits as needed.
4. Re-sign the Subscription Documents
After making your changes:
Click Next to proceed. Vanilla will prompt you to save and re-sign to confirm the updates. Or, if you need to make additional edits, click “Save and Continue” to keep working before returning to the Review & Confirm page.
On the Review & Confirm page:
If you are a Signatory, click “Proceed to Sign” to re-sign the documents.
If there are multiple Signatories, each one must re-sign to validate the changes.
Once all Signatories have re-signed, the Subscription Overview page will again display the “Documents Complete” status.
